Une nouvelle version de MBSA : Microsoft Baseline Security Analyser. 2.1 vient d'être mise en ligne par Microsoft . Cette nouvelle version, devient donc compatible Windows Vista et Windows Server 2008 . Il passe par la même occasion de l’état de Bêta 2 à  la Version Finale.

MBSA est un outil libre et autonome de balayage conçu pour les professionnels des petites et moyennes entreprises les aidant à déterminer leur niveau de sécurité suivant les recommandations de Microsoft. MBSA aide les entreprises en indiquant aux administrateurs les mises à jour importantes qui manquent sur les différentes machines.

     Microsoft Baseline Security Analyser 2.1 est disponible en 4 langues : Anglais, Allemand, Français, et Japonais.

Codecs have always been a big problem for the computer users. That's because there has never been a 100% viable working solution available for the average computer user. There are several good codec package solutions out there, but none of them did everything i wanted. I was always in need of a tweak, adjustment, or even a reinstallation just to get the codecs I needed/wanted and most of the time, the file still didn't play. I've never claimed to be a media guru. My media experience is to doubleclick a file i downloaded and hope that it plays. What I do know is how to package software. So I decided to package some codecs and share them with the rest of the world. With this package all possible conflicts are already dealt with. Many user suggested default settings are implemented,

If you have a suggestion of improvement, I'm listening.

It does not contain a media player and it doesn't associates filetypes. With this package installed you will be able to use any media player, limited only by the players' capabilities, to play DVD's, movies and video clips of almost any filetype. Streaming video is supported in all popular web browsers. By default you won't need to make any adjustments to enjoy a variety of media content immediately. Users have the ability to choose what is installed using the public redistributable or after an unattended install, you can select to remove specific portions without removing the entire package. Future releases will recognize previous releases and are capable of performing upgrade installations.

ISO Maker v1.0.0.0 DT Lite Plugin

   Voiçi le tout premier plugin pour DAEMON Tools Lite qui vient d'être publié par Disk-Tools.com , le site web/distributeur officiel de DAEMON Tools.

Ce plugin vous permettra de créer une image ISO à partir d'un disque (CD, DVD, HD DVD ou Blu Ray) ou d'une image disque (via un lecteur virtuel).

Pour installer ce plugin, il vous suffit de fermer Daemon Tools Lite (clic droit sur l'icône près de l'horloge, puis cliquez sur "quitter"), Copier le fichier isomaker.dll dans le dossier plugin de DAEMON Tools Lite (par défaut il s'agit du dossier "C:Program Files/DAEMON Tools Lite/Plugins"). Lorsque vous relancerez DAEMON Tools Lite, vous trouverez un nouveau bouton dans le panneau représentant un disque avec les trois lettres ISO.

Note Importante : Pour profiter de ce plugin, il faut activer le panneau DT. Pour celà,  l'option "Activer le panneau DT" doit être activé dans le menu  "Options" lorsque vous faites un clic droit sur l'icône de DAEMON Tools près de l'horloge.
