    CDBurnerXP pro 4 est un logiciel de gravure qui permet de graver des CD-R/W et des DVD-R/W. Il permet de graver des CD de données, des CD audio (à partir de fichiers wav, mp3, ogg, wma) et des images ISO.

Pour les Cd-Audio il est capable de générer automatiquement de succinctes pochettes de CD avec les titres des morceaux gravés.
Il supporte la technologie Burn-Proof et les multi-sessions (qui permettent d’ajouter sur un même cd-rom des fichiers au cours de plusieurs gravures successives).

Il permet d’effacer les supports réinscriptibles.

Beaucoup de changements dans cette nouvelle version, tout d'abord il a été récrit en VB.NET.
Suppression de l'extraction audio et amélioration des fonctions nécessaires pour sa tâche principale - la gravure de disques.

Voici les changements les plus importants :

- Support des nouvelles technologies comme les DVD double couches, les Blu-Ray et les HD-DVD
- Internationalisation (i18n) : support des caractères multi-octets pour les disques et les traductions du programme
- Support des fichiers audio FLAC
- Copie de disque-à-disque pour l'audio et les données
- Sauvegarde des disques et des compilations comme un fichier ISO
- Support des listes de lecture WPL
- Fichiers de projet basé sur le XML pour l'interpolarité

Process Explorer 11.03

Ever wondered which program has a particular file or directory open? Now you can find out. Process Explorer shows you information about which handles and DLLs processes have opened or loaded.

The Process Explorer display consists of two sub-windows. The top window always shows a list of the currently active processes, including the names of their owning accounts, whereas the information displayed in the bottom window depends on the mode that Process Explorer is in: if it is in handle mode you'll see the handles that the process selected in the top window has opened; if Process Explorer is in DLL mode you'll see the DLLs and memory-mapped files that the process has loaded. Process Explorer also has a powerful search capability that will quickly show you which processes have particular handles opened or DLLs loaded.

The unique capabilities of Process Explorer make it useful for tracking down DLL-version problems or handle leaks, and provide insight into the way Windows and applications work.

What's new in Version 11.03:

This update to Process Explorer, an advanced process information utility, has a number of miscellaneous improvements. For example, the thread support in the process properties dialog is enhanced with Wow64 thread stacks on 64-bit Windows and kernel stacks on Windows Vista and Server 2008. In addition, tooltips on the service hosting processes now show service names, the user SID is displayed on the security properties page, and column headers have tooltips when they’re too small to display their text.

SyncToy v2.0 Beta

   SyncToy 2.0 Beta for Windows is available as a free download from the Microsoft Download Center. The easy to use, customizable application helps you copy, move, rename, and delete files between folders and computers.
There are files from all kinds of sources that we want to store and manage. Files are created by our digital cameras, e-mail, cell phones, portable media players, camcorders, PDAs, and laptops. Increasingly, computer users are using different folders, drives, and even different computers (such as a laptop and a desktop) to store, manage, retrieve and view files. Yet managing hundreds or thousands of files is still largely a manual operation. In some cases it is necessary to regularly get copies of files from another location to add to primary location; in other cases there is a need to keep two storage locations exactly in sync. Some users manage files manually, dragging and dropping from one place to another and keeping track of whether the locations are synchronized in their heads. Other users may use two or more applications to provide this functionality.
Now there is an easier way. SyncToy, a free PowerToy for Microsoft Windows, is an easy to use, highly customizable program that helps users to do the heavy lifting involved with the copying, moving, and synchronization of different directories. Most common operations can be performed with just a few clicks of the mouse, and additional customization is available without additional complexity. SyncToy can manage multiple sets of folders at the same time; it can combine files from two folders in one case, and mimic renames and deletes in another case. Unlike other applications, SyncToy actually keeps track of renames to files and will make sure those changes get carried over to the synchronized folder.

• True Folder Sync: Folder creates, renames and deletes are now synchronized for all SyncToy actions.
• Exclusion Filtering Based on Name: File exclusion based on name with exact or fuzzy matching.
• Filtering Based on File Attributes: The ability to exclude files based on one or more file attributes (Read-Only, System, Hidden).
• Unattended Folder Pair Execution: Addressed issues related to running scheduled folder pairs while logged off.
• Folder Pairs With Shared Endpoints: Ability for folder pairs associated with the same or different instances of SyncToy to share end-points.
• Command line enhancements: Added the ability to manage folder pairs via the command line interface.
• The SyncToy engine has been rearchitected to provide scalability and the ability to add significant enhancements in future releases.
• Sync engine is also more robust insomuch that many single, file level errors are skipped without affecting the entire sync operation.
• Sync Encrypted Files: Sync of Encrypted files works when local folder and files are encrypted, which addresses the common scenario involving sync between local, encrypted laptop PC folder and remote, unencrypted desktop PC folder.
• 64-Bit compatibility
• Folder pair rename
• Sub-folder Exclusion Enhancements: Descendents creates under excluded sub-folders are automatically excluded.
• Folder Pair Metadata Moved: Folder pair metadata removed from MyDocuments to resolve any issues with server-based folder pair re-direction setup.

• Upgrade: SyncToy engine has been re-architected. As a result, it is important to run all folder pairs before and after an upgrade from a previous version of SyncToy.
• SQL Server Compact Edition: SQL Server Compact Edition is a client side database that SyncToy uses to store its metadata. As a part of the SyncToy installation, SQL Server Compact Edition 3.1 will be installed on the target machine.
• Installation: If SyncToy 2.0 Beta is installed using an account which is different than the one that was used to install previous versions of SyncToy, then the previous version will not be uninstalled. In this case, it is recommended that users uninstall the previous version using the previously used user account before installing SyncToy 2.0 Beta.
