What’s new in Expression Blend 2.5?

Silverlight 2 Support

Use Expression Blend 2.5 March 2008 Preview to create and modify managed Silverlight 2-based applications. Expression Blend for Silverlight 2 includes all of the features in Expression Blend 2 but has not reached the quality level of Expression Blend 2 for WPF or Silverlight 1 development.

Installation Instructions:
  1. Install the .NET Framework 3.5 first before you install Expression Blend 2.5.
  2. Install Silverlight 2 Beta 1
  3. Install Expression Blend 2.5 March 2008 Preview (25 megabytes)

Please note: Information about prerelease versions of Microsoft Expression products is subject to change.

*This preview release does not require a product key. You can use the Expression Blend 2.5 March 2008 Preview until July 1, 2008. Users who have experienced problems with licensing in previous previews should have a significantly improved experience with this release.
